After a 25 year professional career in Interior Design, Phyllis Day has come full circle back to her first love, painting, which she studied early on in her creative journey, during and after college.

Phyllis is a colorist with a painting style that leans more toward impressionism than realism.
Drawing inspiration from all that surrounds her,  she still follows the advice of one of her favorite instructors:  when your heart beats faster for something in nature, go paint it!

After years of adventure and travel, painting the world, Phyllis decided to share her passion for art with others by opening a studio space in a historic building in the small seaport of Port Townsend, and teaching beginning watercolor, acrylic painting, and interior design classesThere will be a break in classes this Summer --  which promises to be filled with more adventures and travels -- but future workshops are in the planning, so please check back again soon to see what's in store for the Fall.
